Quimper, crepe and prep

11 08 2015

1. To Quimper, pronounced ‘camper’ for the day. Stunning stained glass in the cathedral, even though the nave of the church is slightly skewiff!

2. The girls and I feel an affinity with the lunchtime stop ‘Copper J’ restaurant, due to its coppery theme. The waitress is minded to not let us in as the kitchen is soon to close but she takes pity on me and we have a very pleasant lunch eating Breton crepes and fashioning a train track on the table.

3. Laying out treasure hunt clues and blowing up balloons in anticipation of the big birthday ahead.
