5 again, misty Scotney and remembrance

1 11 2015

1. Having the house back to ourselves after a week of housing the French family.

2. A misty walk out at Scotney Castle.

3. I go to the afternoon remembrance service at church. Everyone is there to remember their loved ones. When the vicar reads out Mum’s name I go up to the front to light a candle. By the end all the candles on the table are lit. It’s a lovely service. The hymns are ‘what a friend we have in Jesus’, one of J and A’s wedding hymns and ‘guide me o thy great redeemer’, one of our wedding hymns. And at the end of the address, the same quote from my confirmation address – “I am with you always, until the end of time.”
