Pooling, brunching and milling

7 04 2016

1. Rock pooling. I get great satisfaction swooshing the net around the pools, even though I know we probably won’t find anything.

2. An amazing and good value brunch at the Old Bakery cafe, some 100 yards down the road from our cottage. How can we only have discovered this as the week is drawing to a close?!

3. They only mill and bake at Cothele Mill twice a week and today is one of the days that they do. God bless National Trust volunteers. The lady in the kitchen forces several biscuits on us made with flour from the Mill and they are absolutely delicious. The walk there and back alongside the babbling stream is divine.
