About me

When my Mum died unexpectedly five years ago I felt really negative. Ironically, she was one of the most positive people I know – she never got angry and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She lived life to the full and embraced every opportunity and every single day of her life.

I have been following the blog Three Beautiful Things for a while now and I love the fact that the author finds three things to be thankful for every single day.*

So, as a tribute to my Mum and for the sake of my lovely husband Mat and gorgeous daughters Doris, Isla and Kirsty, I intend to have at least ‘three happy thoughts’ every single day, documenting the positive things that happen in my life, however small…

I enjoy reading your posts, Kate. It’s so important to be able to find joy in the simple things in life that could so easily go unnoticed. You have inspired me!

Lara told me about your blog. What a lovely idea. I try to think of good things before I go to sleep at night and it really does help to keep me positive. Judith.x

These are lovely Kate. I’d heard about this blog but only just saw it today. I think this positivity ends up in you having to decide WHICH three happy thoughts you will mention each day.

Thanks Pauline. Some days are trickier than others but I always manage at least three and haven’t missed a day since I started!
